Simbiant is using machine learning to build next-generation military perception systems. Our engineers have extensive deep learning knowledge and can create powerful AI applications for various niches in Defence. We are interested in using AI to solve advanced sensing problems such as:
- RF emitter classification,
- Detection of low SNR spread-spectrum RF signals,
- Synthetic aperture radar target recognition,
- Identification of low-signature targets using SPAD Flash LADAR,
- Visual/IR/RF sensor fusion.
We are building edge devices to deploy our AI solutions to the battlefield. We have the capability to design and develop custom hardware to interface essential electronic warfare componentry such as FPGAs and RF transceivers with AI-optimised GPUs (e.g., NVIDIA Jetsons).
In addition to our detection and classification work, we use generative adversarial networks to create deepfake synthetic data. We are currently using deepfakes to accelerate the radar modelling process and to automate the production of Intelligence Mission Data (IMD).
